Born and raised in Michigan,
Michael began playing and singing in his late teens. He first
gained attention when he joined Wendy Smiths band Blue Velvet.
He went on to join his brother Gary's band The Bluegrass Gentleman
before forming his own band Southern Bound.
After several years of furthering
his education, Michael went on to help form Morning Harvest,
with John Coffey and Steve Daniels.
After recording three projects
with The Bluegrass Gentleman and most recently one with Morning
Harvest, at long last Michael has recorded his first solo project
for SoundRidge Recordings. With a straightforward bluegrass sound,
Michael has chosen some of his long time favorite material to
record. He has also enlisted some talented songwriters for some
excellent original material.
Now he has teamed up with some
good friends and excellent musicians to bring the Mike Adams
