NEW - Corsair Concert Series

April 26, 2008

Presenting: Tony Trischka Double Banjo Bluegrass Spectactular

This is the 16th season for the Corsair Concert Series in Tawas City, Michigan
Presenting quality bluegrass music in an old-time, up close atmosphere.

Presented by the Corsair Trail Council, proceeds from the concert series are
used to maintain and operate the Corsair Skiing and Hiking Trails
in the Huron National Forest.

Events are held at the Tawas United Methodist Church Family Center,
on highway M-55 in Tawas City. Showtime is 7:30 p.m.

The White Crow

Conservatory of Music

Check out the White Crow in Saginaw.
Their concert series featureing national and regional performers
will run from September through May on the 2nd and last Fridays of the month.
Our other days will be filled with concerts and workshop by local and
statewide performers, band class concerts, open mics, irish sessions
with one night a month dedicated to acoustic blues, bluegrass, gospel and Christian music,
kids open mics and even a poetry evening. The schedule runs all year round!

The White Crow also offers lessons in all stringed instruments,
full CD production including in-house photography by Hilton Photography.
Instrument retail, showcasing handbuilt instruments, consignments and
Michigan's own Wechter guitars. Coffee and tea always being served and cold drinks for sale!
